On March 4, 2024, Jiangsu Hualan New Pharmaceutical Material Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Hualan NPM") and Siemens Ltd. China officially launched MES&SCADA project, marking a solid step for Hualan to be taken in the field of intelligent manufacturing. The project is named "MES&SCADA System Engineering for Intelligent Manufacturing Project of Jiangsu Hualan New Pharmaceutical Material Co., Ltd. ", aiming to use cutting-edge technology to promote the digitalization and refinement of Hualan's production management, thereby establishing new competitive advantages in the pharmaceutical packaging material industry.

After HAN Zhenyu's speech, BAI Bing, IT Manager of Hualan NPM, provided a detailed introduction to the background of the company's digital project. Subsequently, CAO Chundi, Project Manager of Hualan NPM, introduced the core members of the project team and their responsibilities to everyone. WANG Hua, Siemens Project Manager also introduced the project team members he led, and together with Technical Manager CHEN Zhen, presented the project's commencement report. Through the implementation of this project, an integrated MES system will be established to achieve digitalization and refinement of production management, driving the company to reduce costs, improve work efficiency, and enhance compliance levels. And through the implementation of SCADA, data collection of key equipment in the existing rubber stopper workshop is achieved, providing data support for electronic batch recording in MES.

# Standardization of production process

Implement material, equipment management, and electronic batch recording functions through MES systems to improve the standardization and management efficiency of production processes.

# Refinement of quality control

Adopting international standard modeling to achieve digitalization of production and quality control processes, further enhancing the level of product quality management.

# Strengthening production material management

The system will track the usage of raw materials and consumables in real-time, replacing traditional manual recording methods and improving the accuracy and efficiency of management.

# Electronicization of production batch records

Shift towards electronic batch recording to reduce the potential environmental impact of paper records while ensuring the accuracy and traceability of data records.

# Overall improvement of technical indicators

Fully utilizing the advantages of the system will optimize and improve the main technical indicators of traceability, efficiency, quality, data integrity, and information transparency.

# SCADA data collection and monitoring

Integrate key workshop equipment data from Jiangyin factory into SCADA platform, achieve unified storage and monitoring of data, and seamlessly dock with MES system.
